Cbi Places Sunil Yadav On Arrest In Connection With Viveka's Case

The Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) which has been probing into the YS Vivekanda Reddy case for over one year had placed a person under arrest. Reports claimed that the arrested person is the key accused reportedly.

After arresting one Sunil Yadav in Goa, he was produced before a court by the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) sleuths and sought a transit remand. Transit remand is an order issued by a Magistrate to take the arrested person to another state for the case purpose.

It is said that the Magistrate issued the transit remand order and the CBI officials are bringing the accused to Andhra Pradesh and he is expected to be produced before a court in Kadapa.

Earlier, Sunil Yadav was quizzed by the CBI officials in connection with the murder case. The accused who has been absconding was arrested by the officials after tracing him to Goa.

It has to be noted that, Sunil Yadav had earlier knocked on the doors of the Andhra Pradesh High Court leveling allegations against the CBI that he and his family members were harassed by the CBI.

After moving the High Court, Sunil Yadav left for Goa and has been hiding there ever since. Knowing that Sunil Yadav went absconding, the CBI reached Goa and nabbed him.

Sunil Yadav is said to be one of the accused in the case. Erra Gangi Reddy and Uma Shankar are the other two accused in the case.

YS Vivekanda Reddy, brother of former Chief Minister of combined Andhra Pradesh Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy and uncle of serving Chief Minister of AP YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was found dead at his residence in Pulivendula on March 15, 2019.

The murder case had triggered a lot of questions on the incident as blood clots were found in his room and wounds were spotted on his body reportedly.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who was in the opposition party when the incident took place. He alleged that the then Telugu Desam Party(TDP) which was in power was behind the incident. The case was transferred to CBI from the special investigation team (SIT)
