Chandrababu finalized nominees for RS

Selecting two Rajya Sabha candidates turned as a big headache for Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu as there are a large number of ticket aspirants including senior party leaders.After conducting several brainstorming sessions in its polit bureau meeting held yesterday Babu have  finalized the Rajya Sabha nominees for the upcoming elections.

Chandrababu named  Garikapati  Rammohan and Thota Sitaramalakshmi as the official nominees for the Rajya Sabha elections.The party had decided to give the two seats to two leaders belonging to both regions and Under this calculation, they have decided one from Seemandhra and other from telangana

In the meeting Chandrababu Naidu faced a tough situation with Parti Telangana senior leader Motkupalli Narasimhulu and Nandamuri Harikrishna. Both of them were annoyed with babu decision and walked away from politburo meeting .Narasimhulu was very hopeful of getting the seat but all his dreams shattered with the entry of Sita Mahalakshmi.

Earlier in the day, Babu almost finalized Garikapati Mohan Rao and Mothkupalli Narasimhulu’s names. But by evening, surprisingly equations got changed and Thota Sita Mahalakshmi replaced Narasimhulu.

Garikapati hailed from Kamma community in Warangal and he has been instrumental in the successful conduction of the Vastunna Meekosam campaign of Chandrababu Naidu. Otherside, Ms. Lakshmi is a Kapu who unsuccessfully contested from Narsapur Lok Sabha constituency last time.
