In an attempt to shift the administration to the proposed new capital at the earliest, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced that he would be working four days in a week from Vijayawada itself.
Mr.Naidu also directed the Chief Secretary and Secretaries of all the Departments to work from Vijayawada at least 3-4 days a week. A circular has been issued by Chief Minister's Office in this regard. Leading by example, Chandrababu has been shifting the location of review meetings from Hyderabad to Vijayawada. On Tuesday, He would take part in a review meeting of the finance department to analyse the 1st Quarter performance.
The presence of Chief Secretary in Vijayawada will only lead to better coordination among the Government Officials. Camp Office of Krishna district collector will now become the camp office of Chief Secretary.
