Why CBN Deleted Tweet On RSS Founder?

Update: 2018-02-27 07:30 GMT
AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu placed a Tweet on Monday morning to pay tribute to RSS Founder Veer Savarkar on the eve of his death anniversary. 'Humble tributes to the legendary freedom fighter, Veer Savarkar ji, on his anniversary,' he wrote.

Surprisingly, TDP Supremo deleted his Tweet on Veer Savarkar within short time. One of his followers praised Naidu when he paid tribute and questioned him when he deleted it.

Political Analysts say, Chandrababu might have realized it would send a wrong indication to the AP People only after placing the Tweet. Some of the followers might have even questioned how could he praise RSS Founder when TDP claims to be fighting with Centre for AP's rights.

It was Veer Savarkar who coined the term 'Hindutva'. While BJP projects Veer Savarkar as a freedom fighter, Congress and Opposition Parties doesn't accept it citing he hadn't supported 'Quit India' movement. In his August 1942 letter, Mr.Savarkar asked Hindu Mahasabha Members to continue in their posts and boycott the Quit India movement.
