Chikoti Praveen and his team were arrested recently in Thailand for playing gambling which is not acceptable there. Now an interesting thing has come out. A total of 240 people went to Thailand from Hyderabad. But only 140 people were caught by the cops. The reason is that 100 people returned to Hyderabad one day before. Though they felt sad about returning earlier, they did not take much time to change their decision after knowing that others were arrested by the Thai Police.
Now they are said to be very happy as they missed getting arrested in a nack. 240 people went to Thailand from Telugu states and Karnataka. Around 84 people from there are arrested. 100 people returned a day earlier. The rest of them were safe as they went for shopping and other activities.
When the local cops went to the hotel after receiving information that gambling activities are going on, they arrested only people who are present inside the hotel. It has been reported that those who are not present during gambling and who got the information of police arrest quickly headed to the airport and returned to their states. Surprisingly, the majority of people who went to Thailand for gambling activities did not know that there is an official ban on gambling in Thailand.
On the other hand, a new thing has come out. A new angle came out on how the Thai Police received information, which is in contrast to the other versions. A leader from the Siddipet region from the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi reportedly lost as much as two crores in casino activities. With this, the leader reportedly lost control and barged into an argument with a Thai person working in the hotel.
