China Doctor Who Warned About Coronavirus Is No More

Chinese doctor Li Wenliang who is one of the eight whistleblowers of the deadly virus coronavirus has died at 2:58 a.m. on February 7, the Wuhan Central Hospital said. He is the one who warned the government about the virus.

It is reported that the doctor first witnessed the symptoms of coronavirus when he did an eye test for a person.

In a chat group where all his fellow doctors were also there, he shared the news with them that a SARS-like illness were being quarantined in a hospital in Wuhan and he got arrested for "rumor-mongering".

Following this, the Global times took to Twitter to share the news of the sad demise of the hero who warned us about the deadly virus.

"Chinese doctor #LiWenliang, one of the eight "whistleblowers" who tried to warn other medics of the coronavirus outbreak but were reprimanded by local police, died from #coronavirus at 2:58 am Friday, the hospital where he received treatment announced," read the Tweet.
