CM's shocking allegations against Capital Committee

Update: 2015-05-23 06:48 GMT
Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu alleged Sivaramakrishnan committee appointed by UPA Government to scout the suitable location for new capital tried to divide people in the Seemandhra on regional basis.

Naidu accuses UPA Government of trying to create rift between people with their murky politics. He, however, claims people of AP believed his words and backed the Vijayawada-Guntur region as the new capital.

AP government decided to hold the 'Nava Nirman Deeksha' on June 2 instead of foundation day celebrations. Chandrababu Naidu appealed public representatives, employees and students to participate in the event to be held in Vijayawada to send a strong message to those who bifurcated the state.

Foundation Stone for AP Capital Amaravati will be held on June 6th and rededication day would be held on June 8th. Naidu is yet to take a call on inviting Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the ground-breaking ceremony.
