Cops fault Infosys in Rape case

Pune Police find fault with IT major Infosys for the delay in reporting of the rape happened on its campus. The time gap between the rape and its reporting is more than 24 hours. Infosys hasn't responded until the victim lodged a complaint with the police and the company refused to take responsibility inspite of the fact that the accused are members of its housekeeping staff.

After the issue came to light, Infosys issued a press note through its PR Agency clarifying that the victim and the accused were actually contract employees hired from an external agency. Now, the cops were enquiring if the cops have done enough background check before hiring the two accused.

On December 27th, Canteen Cleaner Paritosh Bagh who is 21-Years-Old entered women's washroom when the victim was inside and molested her. When she raised the alarm, The Second accused Prakash Mahadik who is 30-Years-Old entered into the lavatory but filmed the act using his mobile instead of helping her. Both the accused were sent to remand till January 5th, 2016.
