Telangana DGP Mahender Reddy appealed the people not to believe the rumours on missing Women & Children. He issued a clarification that most of the missing cases registered so far were related to individual problems such as family, love affair, exams failure, admonishing by parents, married women & men leaving families for various reasons, parents not taken care & etc.,
DGP informed, 'Over 85% of missing people have been successfully traced and efforts have been continuing to trace the remaining. Telangana Police are committed to safety & security of all citizens'.
The Top Cop warned legal action will be taken against those who are spreading rumours through social media and creating panic among the public.
On the other hand, Even Hyderabad City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar told stringent action will be taken on those who spread rumours through social media.
