The political picture changed at once after the Karnataka elections. The opposition parties have a big hope that they can defeat the mighty BJP. The like-minded people are coming together to discuss things. Though such efforts happened earlier, there is good momentum in the efforts which are now going on.
Recently, a big meeting was held in Patna and it is said that the meeting was successful. Going by the success of the meeting, political observers say that few other meetings will be held and the parties might come to a common opinion on the PM's face.
Amid this, former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav made some serious comments and said that staying in the Prime Minister's residence without a wife is wrong and that whoever gets to become the PM next should have a wife.
"Whoever becomes the PM should not be without a wife. Staying at PM's residence without a wife is wrong. This should be done away with..." the former Bihar Chief Minister is quoted as saying.
People are seeing the comments as targeting PM Modi and advising Rahul Gandhi to get married. It is known that Narendra Modi walked out of the marriage long back and stayed away from his wife. He was also targeted for this.
As Yadav said that whoever becomes the next PM should not live without a wife, observers say he targeted Narendra Modi with this. On the other hand, his comments are also seen as an indication that the opposition parties might pitch Rahul Gandhi as the PM post in the next elections.
It is known that Rahul Gandhi is also not married and many wonder how he can be the PM face. But it has to be mentioned that recently, Lalu Prasad Yadav advised Rahul Gandhi to get married.
