Temple city Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh is witnessing massive floods over the past few days resulting in a tense situation in the town. Tirupati hasn't received such severe floods in recent times. Due to the heavy downpour, the devotees who visited the holy shrine were stranded at the temple. As a precautionary measure, the ghat roads were closed.
Reacting to the flood situation in Tirupati, Megastar Chiranjeevi said that the locals and pilgrims in the city are facing a lot of issues. Calling the situation a heartbreaking one, Chiranjeevi had urged the Andhra Pradesh government and TTD to work collectively to bring the situation under control.
Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy actor Chiranjeevi in his tweet had asked the political parties and his fan clubs to do their bit in helping the victims in the tough situation, as the city is seeing such a severe downpour.
"#RainFuryInTirupathi Appeal to State Government, TTD,All Political Parties, Fans Associations & Good Samaritans to extend all possible help to restore normalcy asap," Chiranjeevi tweeted.
Actor-producer Lakshmi Manchu urged everyone to be careful of those who are in the neighbourhood. Saying that nature is in fury, she had appealed to everyone who were planning to visit Tirupati to postpone their travel for a few days.
