The fearsome power of an 'ice tsunami' was caught on film by locals on the shore of the Yenisei River in the Russian Arctic. Giant ice blocks are forced ashore as the melting and cracking floes move downstream towards the Arctic Ocean in northern Siberia.

The tsunami of June 4, 2019, hit the sea ice. The locals took it as a video and posted it on social media. Photos and videos related to this have gone viral on social media.
