Exit Poll Results: Assam & Kerala

Elections for the five state assemblies Assam, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry have completed today and it's time for the poll predictions. Several exit poll results were announced minutes after the elections concluded. As per the predictions for the first time BJP will win in Assam while left parties will return to power in Kerala.

Here is what the exit polls predict in Assam & Kerala:

Assam Result:

BJP-led alliance will win the Assam assembly elections in the 126-member house.

India Today-Axis exit poll

79-93 seats to the Bharatiya Janata Party combine.

26-33 to the Congress

6-10 to the All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF).

ABP-Nielsen exit poll:

81 seats to the BJP coalition,

33 to Congress

10 to the AIUDF.

Time Now C-Voter exit poll:

BJP & Combo-57 seats

Congress 41

AIUDF 18

Others 10.

Congress has been ruling the state for past 15 years and last time it has won 78 seats. BJP was confined to just five seats in last elections and AIUDF won 18

Kerala: Left party alliance which is led by the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) once again set to return to power in the 140-member assembly

88 to 101 seats to the Left Democratic Front (LDF)

38-48 to the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF).
