Farmer Puts Masks For Goats Fearing COVID-19 Spread

Until a tiger in a famous zoo in the US infected with the coronavirus, everyone though that animals are not vulnerable to the deadly virus. This has resulted in many people from Italy leaving their pets fearing that it might cause them coronavirus.

One such incident happened in Telangana where a farmer tied masks for his goats fearing that they might get infected with the deadly virus. K. Venkateshwara Rao who hails from the Khammam district did this innovative act to save his goats.

It is learned that the incident of the US tiger testing positive for the virus pushed him to follow this step as he feared that his goats might also get infected from the dreaded virus.
 
Pictures of his goats wearing medical masks went viral on social media. As the goats are the source of his bread and butter he took this safety measure. He has tied the masks for around 20 goats.

"I did not want to take any chance, so I put these masks. After reaching the interior forest area I remove their masks to enable them to graze and again cover them while returning home in the evening," the farmer said.
