After facing a lot of criticism, the FIR filed against 49 celebrities has been canceled. This all happened when an advocate filed the petition in the Chief Magistrate Court questioning the voice of the Celebrities. After hearing the case, the Court has ordered the police to file the FIR against them. The police have admitted that they followed the orders issued by the local court.

This move has sparked a massive outage. Celebrities like Kamal Hasan has openly criticized the move. He took to twitter and tweeted regarding this, which reads as follows, "The Prime minister seeks a harmonious India. His statements in the parliament confirms it. Should not the state and it's law follow it in letter and spirit? 49 of my peers have been accused of sedition, contradicting the PM's aspirations. I request as a citizen that Our Higher courts move in to uphold justice with Democracy and quash the case eminating from Bihar,"

It seems like the voice of Celebrities criticizing this move is heard by the court. The FIR filed on these celebrities has been revoked.
