Baba Ramdev Lands In A Big Problem

Yoga guru, Patanjali Ayurved Limited founder Baba Ramdev who recently claimed that his company has found a medicine that cures the ongoing pandemic landed in big trouble.

Baba Ramdev named the herbal product 'CORONIL' and claimed that the magic vaccine will be released in the market very soon and his company is making plans in this regard.

Following the company's claims, the Union Ayush ministry responded quickly and issued an official statement claiming that the herbal product 'CORONIL' did not get the required approval from the government for the vaccine and even held Baba Ramdev responsible for the misleading the public with his false claims.

In the latest development, the Rajasthan Police registered an FIR against yoga guru Ramdev, CEO of Haridwar-based Patanjali Ayurved Acharya Balakrishna, Patanjali employee Anurag Varshney, National Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (NIMS) chairman Balvir Singh Tomar, and director Anurag Singh Tomar.

The cops booked the five people under Section 420 (cheating) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), and the Drugs and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisements) Act.

However, the Union Ayush ministry directed the Ayurveeci company to submit the details of the vaccine and also asked the company to not do publicity for the vaccine.
