FIR Lodged Against Former MP CM And Eight Others For Floating Covid-19 Norms
Following the COVID-19 outbreak, everything around us came to a standstill and the government issued some guidelines regarding the public gathering, and cases are slapped against people who violate these norms.
Now the police registered an FIR against Congress veteran and former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath and eight others under various IPC sections and Disaster Management Act on the grounds of floating the Covid-19 norms.
According to some media reports, Datia district Congress chief Nahar Singh Yadav took permission from the concerned authorities to hold a party meeting in Bhander on October 5th.
Going by the Covid-19 norms, the persimmon was given to hold the party meeting for only 100 attendees, along with following all the Covid-19 norms.
It is believed that the FIR was registered after receiving a written complaint from the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Arvind Mahor on the violation of Covid-19 norms during the poll meeting.
During the meeting, as many as, 2000-2,500 persons were present reportedly, which is a gross violation of the Covid-19 safety norms.
