Andhra Pradesh Government which failed to convince its employees to move from Hyderabad to Vijayawada by June this year came up with a Housing offer to get things done.
State Government now announces a Free Housing scheme for the employees who are willing to shift to Vijayawada as soon as possible. Under this scheme, The employees could get their own houses in the proposed new capital Amaravati at free of cost.
What else can they get? State Government Employees needn't pay Equated Monthly Installment (EMI) to own the House but they have to let go the Housing Rent Allowence (HRA) in return.
Hudco will built 10,000 houses for the employees in the first phase of AP Capital construction. With this move, AP Government is confident of shifting the administration from Hyderabad to the new capital area.
