The Petition moved by Chilkur Balaji Temple head priest Soundarrajan seeking clearance of dues to the tune of Rs 1,000 crore. He demands TTD to pay the amount to Telangana Government as its share in the income generate prior to bifurcation. High Court has accepted the petition and directed the Governments of Telugu States to file their reply.
While responding on the petition moved by Soundarrajan, TDP Leader Gali Muddukrishnama Naidu has raised a valid point. He questioned whether Telangana has shared the revenue generated in Hyderabad with Andhra Pradesh. He also maintained that TTD has got some policies and would follow them without fail.
As per AP Reorganisation Act 2014, There is no provision to share TTD revenue with Telangana. However, The T-Government is firm on its stand of obtaining its share of Rs 241 crore from Rs 576 crore of Common Good Fund between the period 2003 to 2014.
