In an unfortunate incident a five-year-old girl child died after being stuck in a lift in a private school in Hyderabad. The incident occurred at Star Kids School at Moosrambagh in Malakpet area.
Going into details Rehana Fatima, a student of first standard, was going to her class room on the third floor when she got stuck between the lift doors and died.
She accidentally got stuck between the doors, and suffered serious injuries. The student got into the lift with her classmates after the school assembly and how she got caught in between the lift and the wall is yet to be ascertained. She died on the way to hospital.
The family members of the deceased and other local residents gathered in front of the school and held a protest demanding stern action against its management. Senior police officials rushed to the spot to control the situation. They questioned the school principal and others.
