Rare Record For Harish Rao

Update: 2018-10-19 13:50 GMT
Harish Rao may be down and out within the TRS and both KCR and KTR may be cold-shouldering him, but here is one news that might give some  consolation to him. He will become the youngest MLA in the country to win more than six times. At just 46 years of age, he will achieve this record. Till now, Kerala's KM Mani holds the record for winning six times at the youngest age. Even KCR had won seven times and is contesting a record eigth time. But, he has won his sixth term when he was 50.

In Telangana, late Baga Reddy and present leader of the Congress legislature party K Jana Reddy have won seven times each. They have won a sixth time when there were 53 and 63 years of age respectively. But know who holds the record in India for becoming MLA the maximum number of times? It's Karunanidhi. He had won a record 13 times. Jyothi Basu and Maharashtra's G Deshmukh come next by winning 11 times. Mallikarjun Kharge, the senior Congress leader, had won as an MLA for nine times.

Harish Rao is now facing a low in politics. His own party has sidelined him. His uncle KCR and his cousin brother KTR have completely marginalized him. Even Harish himself has adopted a low profile to avoid confrontation. Harish is largely confined to his home turf of Siddipet.
