Madras High Court served notices to Congress leader Vijayashanti seeking her presence in the court during the hearing of a land dispute case.
Inderchand moved a petition in George Town Court complaining he purchased the property belonging to Vijayashanti in Egmore in 2006. He claims to have paid Rs 4.68 crore out of total amount Rs 5.20 crore and have power of attorney as well. However, The court had dismissed this petition.
The Petitioner moved High Court for a favorable judgement. Apart from directing both the parties to opt for an out of court settlement, HC served notices to Ramulamma asking her to appear in the court on Monday.
Since her defeat in 2014 Polls, Vijayashanti isn't active in politics and she continued to behave like an outsider in the Congress party.
