In 2004, TDP was an alliance partner of BJP & Congress remained as it's arch-rival.
In 2009, TDP distanced BJP & moved closer to TRS.
In 2014, TDP formed Alliance with BJP once again & maintained Anti-Congress stand.
In 2019, TDP seems to be desperate to form alliance with Congress, the party against which NTR stepped into politics. Why because, None of the major parties in AP are ready for tie-up with TDP. Chandrababu Naidu have the track record of not being able to win any election without alliance.
