Hyderabad's Biodiversity Flyover Re-Opens

The flyover near Biodiversity park in Gachibowli was closed on November 23 following a crash, has been reopened on Saturday.

Mayor Bonthu Ram Mohan visited the flyover with the senior officials of Grater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation and reopened it on Saturday. The speed limit of the Flyover is fixed at 40kmph. A ban on taking selfies and 1100 fine for over speeding.

The safety measures that have been taken were, Rubber speed breakers were set up throughout the flyover. Various signboards have been placed on the flyover. The speed limit for the vehicles is 40 kmph.  

The Biodiversity flyover was first inaugurated on November 4, 2019. The flyover was constructed with a cost of 70 crores. After the various accidents, the flyover was closed on November 23. The first accident happened on November 10, two young boys died after falling from the flyover, when a car hit them while they were taking selfies. Another incident happened on November 23, an overspeeding car lost control and dashed the divider and flew on the road, two people were injured and one woman killed in the accident.
