A day after Union minister Chiranjeevi landed in Chikkabalapur in Karnataka to campaign for the Congress, his younger brother and actor Pawan Kalyan rushed to the neighboring state on Tuesday to campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
In his roadshows, Pawan addressed the gatherings in Telugu and told them that they should vote for the party which will ensure all-round development. While addressing the gathering Pawan looked emotional and said that he was not there to utter film dialogues.
In his 30 minutes speech Pawan Kalyan said that Kannada people two languages but living as one state whereas the Telugu people have got one language and separated as 2 states .
Pawan also lashed out on congress and he asked the people to vote them out of power.Pawan concluded the speech by stating "Select a leader who won't let you down and who will be with you when you are in need. Vote for BJP".
According to sources Pawan may campaign for BJP in telangana and Seemsndhra also .However the dates for Pawan to campaign in Telangana and Seemandhra are yet to be finalized..
