MS Dhoni popularly dubbed as Jharkhand Dynamite is a player of his kind be it keeping cool at nerve-wracking moments or changing game plan according to the situation.

Under the captainship of MS Dhoni, India won three International Cricket Council(ICC) trophies- ICC T-20 World Cup in 2007, ICC World Cup in 2011, and Champions Trophy in 2013.

This makes Dhoni the only Indian skipper to lay hands on all the trophies. He is highly regarded as the successful Captain of the Indian team.

Dhoni holds a record in leading the team in 322 international matches including all the formats. The wicket-keeper has led India in more than 50 international matches in all three formats.

Under the leadership of Padma Shri awardee, India made it to number one in the ICC Test Rankings. He is the highest run-scoring Wicket keeping batsman in international cricket.

MS Dhoni was awarded the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel of the Indian Army in the year 2011. After India lost to New Zealand in 2019 World Cup semis, Dhoni served the Indian Army for two months.
