In the light of ongoing pandemic spreading its deadly wings across the country, the pandemic tests carried out by a private laboratory came up with a piece of good news.
The national-level laboratory which conducted the pandemic tests came to an opinion that one in every four Indians might possess antibodies that play a crucial role in fighting the pandemic.
On the other hand, surveys conducted by well-known research bodies in the country have found out that Mumbai slum areas reported the highest seropositivity rate with 57 percent followed by Pune with more than 50 percent.
Experts cited that, Metro-Politian cities like National Capital Delhi and financial hub Mumbai will first attain the herd community and the other cities in the country will achieve this.
As India enjoys a lion share of youth as the population, the country is in a better position in combating the respiratory disease even though India is the third worst-affected country.
