On a brighter note, so far around 33 lakh patients were cured of the virus and got discharged from the hospital accordingly. India's recovery rate went up by 77.32 percent.
In the last 24 hours, Telangana reported 2,479 fresh Coronavirus infections taking the total infections in the state to 1,47,642. So far 916 patients succumbed to the virus.
Andhra Pradesh reported 10,601 fresh Coronavirus infections. With the latest addition of cases, total cases in the state zoomed to 5,17,094.4,560 patients lost their lives, due to the virus.
Looking at the global scenario, the pandemic has left around 27,721,018 infected, and out of the patients, 19,808,577 patients have been recovered from the virus.900,844 people breathed their last battling the virus.
