Indian Teacher jailed for 3 Years in US! Why?

A Indian Teacher was sentenced for 3 years imprisonment and fine of $53,004.51 in US for cheating several Indians on the pretext of providing H-1B Visas and Teaching Jobs.

George Mariadas Kurusu, a H-1B Visa Holder, is the former teacher. He was found guilty of committing fraud in foreign labor contracting and tampering with the witness. In January this year, He confessed duping many Indians from December 2012 to May 2016. Over $50,000 has been collected from the Visa aspirants on the promise of providing teaching jobs through the company owned by him.

Court sentenced George to three years of jail term and a heft fine was imposed against him. In addition, The 58-Year-Old was ordered to pay $5,987 to the US Govt and should stay under the supervision of of cops 3 years after the release.

Mr.George established Samaritan Educational Services (Samaritan) and placed Ads in a newspaper in Hyderabad. That's how he collected fee from the aspirants by promising visas and jobs.
