'I will always cherish my 16+ years at Infosys working and learning with some of the best leaders, mentors, colleagues, clients, partners and teams in the industry. I am extremely optimistic of Infosys' continued success and its strong leadership team. I have decided to pursue my personal interests elsewhere. Next up: An out-of-the world assignment! Sudden exit of Sandeep Dadlani might have come as a huge setback to Infosys. However, Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka wished Dadlani all the best for his journey ahead. He also lauded Outgoing President for contributing a lot for the success of Infosys.

Actually, Sandeep Dadlani was the frontrunner for the post of Infosys CEO in 2014. Surprisingly, Vishal Sikka who wasn't even a member of Infosys until then managed to bag the Top Job.

Sandeep Dadlani has been working for Infosys since 2001. He was the global head for Manufacturing, Retail, Logistics and Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG). Now, Infosys appointed Karmesh Vaswani in place of Sandeep Dadlani.
