The grand old Congress party is famous for its group politics and internal fights among the leaders. The tradition has been continuing and these issues are also said to be one reason behind the Congress getting weak day by day. The Telangana wing of Congress is no different in this.
Though the issues are not new in Telangana Congress they began hitting the headlines after Revanth Reddy was made the TPCC chief. A junior getting a big position did not go well with the seniors in the party and they waged a war. Almost all the senior leaders in the party expressed their dissatisfaction with Revanth Reddy's position.
While the other seniors sorted out their issues with Revanth Reddy almost, Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy appears to be still having issues with Revanth Reddy. When his brother Raj Gopal Reddy joined the Bharatiya Janata Party after resigning as the Congress MLA he distanced himself from the Munugode by-election campaign.
But the senior MP now stunned everyone by meeting his rival Revanth Reddy. It has to be mentioned here that earlier Komatireddy Venkat Reddy vowed to not enter Gandhi Bhavan as long as Revanth leads the Telengana wing of the Congress party.
As an unexpected thing, Venkat Reddy met Revanth Reddy at Gandhi Bhavan. Telangana Congress in-charge Manikrao Thakare is meeting the leaders of the party and Venkat Reddy was invited. As a response, he reached the office and met Revanth Reddy.
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy raised a new doubt on whether he decided to keep his issues with Revanth Reddy aside. The visuals and pictures show both leaders having chit-chat. A picture shows Venkat Reddy whispering something in Revanth Reddy's ears. The meeting caught everyone's attention and the leaders are all over the media with the recent meeting at Gandhi Bhavan.
If Komatireddy Venkat Reddy can set the issues aside and work together for the Congress party along with Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee(TPCC) chief Revanth Reddy then the party can get stronger in the state. The grand old party is working on getting the lost glory and leaders working together is the need of the hour.
