A lot of political tumult is happening in the non-BJP ruled states across the country. The CMs of various states are now planning to come together and form a front against the BJP led government at the Centre. West Bengal's Mamta Banerjee, Telangana's KCR, Tamil Nadu's Stalin, Maharashtra's Uddhav Thackeray are in touch with the likes of Deve Gowda and Naveen Patnaik.
But, amid all these, there is no activity whatsoever in Andhra Pradesh. None of these CMs and political leaders are contacting any party in AP. AP, it appears, is missing this political bus. No leader has talked to either YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who is in power in the state or Chandrababu Naidu, who is leading a 40-year-old political party.
It appears no one is trusting both Chandrababu and Jagan. YS Jagan is seen as pro-Modi. He has been quite supportive of the BJP in the Rajya Sabha and has never really criticised the BJP or Modi. Even Chandrababu has his own compulsions. He is trying to forge an alliance with the BJP and the Jana Sena in the 2024 elections. So, he is not in a position to antagonise the BJP.
As a result, AP , with 25 MP seats, appears to be having no role in the current political developments at the national level. So questions are being asked as to whether AP is missing the bus. But, both Jagan and Chandrababu seem to be biding their time as of now.
