The coming two months are going to witness intense political activity. At least three major political parties are going to undertake padayatras for at least 45 days. These yatras could be held in July and August.
BJP's Bandi Sanjay has already decided to undertake a massive Padayatra to cover most assembly constituencies. A team is said to be working out the nitty gritty of the yatra. The BJP feels that the Yatra would culminate at Huzurabad to give a boost to Eatala Rajendra, who is contesting the bypolls there. Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy too has planned a yatra and it would be from Alampur to Adilabad. In fact, even as the working president of the party, Revanth Reddy had taken out a padayatra, which ended at Raviryala in Rangareddy district. This was quite successful. He now wants to take out the yatra once the internal dissidence is contained.
The third leader who is planning a padayatra is YS Sharmila. Soon after the formal launch of the party, she is likely to take out a padayatra. Even KCR is covering all district headquarters. Though not a padayatra, it is also bound to create political ripples in Telangana politics.
