Telangana Cabinet Minister Malla Reddy and his relatives faced IT raids in connection with the alleged irregularities. The issue raised many eyeballs as Malla Reddy's son was admitted to the hospital.
The Enforcement Directorate (ED) recently unearthed an alleged scam in the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) which is said to have happened during the Telugu Desam Party government. The scam is a multi-crore one as per the information. Around 26 people were slapped with notices.
Now the IT department is said to be conducting raids at the residence of YSRCP leader Devineni Avinash. The raids started during the early hours of Tuesday as per the information. It is said that the IT officials were divided five times to carry out raids at multiple locations.
As Devineni Avinash is the Incharge of the Viajaywada East constituency the raids are happening at his residence in Vijayawada and other locations.
Simultaneously the raids also happened in Hyderabad at the offices and residences that belong to a big developer as per the information. The reason behind this is that Devineni Avinash reportedly gave his land to the concerned builder for treatment.
As there were a few doubts about the alleged transactions between Devineni Avinash and the concerned builder, the IT department officials are reportedly conducting a raid at multiple locations at a time in Vijayawada and Hyderabad, and other locations.
