The comparisons between two Telugu states-Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on which is the best is the current trend. At regular intervals, the Telangana leaders are flaunting how better the state is compared to Andhra Pradesh. Now none other than Chief Minister KCR made such comments.
Recently, CM KCR drew a comparison between land development in both states and said that by selling one acre in Telangana, people can buy a few acres in Andhra Pradesh which used to be the other way around. He said this to highlight how land development is happening in Telangana at a rapid pace.
The land value row got bigger with Andhra Pradesh leaders hitting back. Recently, AP IT minister Gudivada Amarnath said that by selling one acre of land in Vizag, close to 150 to 300 acres can be sold in Telangana. Now another big name joined the row to give a counter to KCR.
Andhra Pradesh government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy joined the row. He said that KCR is making such comments as elections are approaching. We can know the clear picture of Telangana if we go into the villages, Sajjala said.
Sajjala said that they are saying hundreds of acres can be purchased in AP by selling one acre of land in Telangana. We can purchase even more acres of land by selling one acre in Mumbai. If we sell one acre in America, we can buy 10,000 acres of land. Such comments are made on purpose, he said.
