The general elections in Andhra Pradesh are one year away now and the political parties have already swung into action to target the opponents. As the upcoming general elections are prestigious for the parties, they are busy implementing the strategies eyeing to come to power. We have seen how Chandrababu Naidu's tour turned tense.

Senior Telugu Desam Party leader JC Prabhakar Reddy raised the alleged sand scam on the Penna River and said that he would make the details of the vehicles involved in the alleged illegal mining public. When everyone waited to see what the former MLA would do, an unexpected thing happened.

A tense situation erupted in Tadipatri with Police action. The Tadipatri Municipal Chairman was kept under house arrest by the cops. As announced earlier, he geared up for the protest. However, cops showed up at his house in big numbers and spoiled his protest.

While JC Prabhakar Reddy was about to come out of his house, he was stopped by the cops. This led to a war of words between him and the cops. As he was not allowed to come out, he sat in a chair in a bid to protest. But that was also stopped and he was sent inside the house by the cops.

Police not only kept the former MLA under house arrest but also closed all the roads that lead to his house and barricades were kept to stop people from going in that way. The Telugu Desam Party activists and supporters showed up in big numbers there and they were sent back.

Tension gripped Tadepalli at once with the house arrest of JC Prabhakar Reddy. The former MLA expressed his dissatisfaction over what happened to him and asked how the cops can behave like that. As per the schedule, he gave a call for a protest at the Police Station in Peddapappur in Tadipatri. But his planning was spoiled by the cops.

JC Prabhakar Reddy who served as the MLA of the Tadipatri Assembly constituency has been serving as the Chairman of Tadipatri Municipality. He took a backstep and is promoting his son in politics.
