The ongoing pandemic is spreading its deadly wings in Andhra Pradesh as the fresh cases are mounting day by day. Adding more fears about the virus spread, lawmakers, and high-profile cases were being reported in the state.
As the latest edition, TDP leader, former Tadipatri MLA contacted the virus. Jail authorities shifted the leader to a special room for further treatment for the respiratory disease.
Going into detail, Kadapa jail authorities tested the samples of the jail inmates for the virus and as many as 317 infections were detected including JC Prabhakar Reddy. These infections included inmates and hail staff too.
JC Prabhakar Reddy who was released on bail on the charges of registering BS III vehicles as BS-IV vehicles by using fake documents and forging insurance documents got arrested again for reportedly abusing CI by taking his caste name.
Earlier, Ponnuru MLA Kilari Rosaiah, Kadubandi Srinivasa Rao, MLA from Srungavarapukota, Jakkampusi Raja, Ambati Ram Babu, deputy chief minister Amzath Basha Sheik, Rajya Sabha Member Vijaya Sai Reddy tested virus positive.
