Former JD Opens Up On His Aim, To Contest From Vizag!

Update: 2023-04-17 11:19 GMT
Former Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) Joint Director Lakshmi Narayana is in the news after filing a bid for the Vizag Steel Plant. Now he made some interesting comments and said that he is still active in politics. On the occasion, he also made a big revelation that he is going to contest from the Vizag constituency in the next elections. It is known that he lost the previous elections from the same constituency.

Though there were reports that he would contest the elections from the constituency and he is making big steps in this regard, there is no clarity on this. But there is no need for more confusion and JD himself said that he is in the race. He also gave clarity on from which political party he would contest the elections. Lakshmi Narayana said that he will run the elections as an independent candidate.

Lakshmi Narayana attended the anniversary ceremony of a private school at Palakollu in East Godavari district. Addressing the gathering, he said that he will contest as the independent candidate in the next elections if needed. Saying that stopping the Vizag Steel Plant privatization is his aim, Lakshmi Narayana said that he will take all the required steps. Earlier he announced that he is participating in bidding and said he would go for crowdfunding for the bid money.

Yet again, JD Lakshmi Narayana spoke about his movement on the occasion and said that we can collect Rs 850 crores if every Telugu family can send Rs 100 every month with the inspiration of the Paisa movement started by Vavilala Gopalakrishnayya in 1980. He said that we can save the plant by doing so for four months.

Everything is fine as of now. But it has to be mentioned here that when Chandrababu Naidu was the Chief Minister during the Telugu Desam Party regime, a website was started asking people to donate at least one brick for the construction of Amaravati city. Telugu families which did not take the brick call seriously will consider JD Lakshmi Narayana's proposal seriously is a big question here. At least he is making a big try, let us wait and see.
