Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is firm on his stand to complete the process of new districts by Dussehra, October 7th. He discussed with TRS Leaders about the growing demand from people to include Gadwal, Janagama and Siricilla in the list of new districts.
KCR: 'Already, 17 New Districts were approved. There is strong demand from people to create three other Districts as well. Why should we disappoint them? In Arunachal Pradesh, There is a District for every 9,000 people. So, Delimitation of existing District into 4 new Districts shouldn't be a concern'.
CM enquired about the possibility of four new districts in Mahbubnagar. He ordered Mahbubnagar, Warangal, Karimnagar district collectors to submit a report on the possibilities of making Gadwal, Janagama and Siricilla as new districts.
If three more districts were added, Total new districts in Telangana will touch 20-mark and overall count would go up to 30.
