KCR remains unchallenged for 8th Time

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has been elected as the President of TRS unanimously for 8th consecutive term.

Home Minister Nayani Narasimha Rao got into the role of a Presiding Officer to complete the formality. All the 12 sets of nomination papers have been filed on behalf of KCR. So, There is no competition what-so-ever for him in the party. This indicates the grip Telangana Crusader have on his party for the past 16 years.

Arrangement have been completed for TRS Plenary at Kompally in Hyderabad on Friday. What follows is a huge public meeting in Warangal on April 27th to celebrate TRS Formation Day. Membership Drive taken up by TRS is successful. The strength of TRS increased from 51 lakh members in 2014 to 75 lakh in 2017.
