Telangana Rashtra Samithi played a big role in the special state movement and the party eventually won two consecutive polls after the state bifurcation. Now the party is aiming to score a hattrick of wins which no other party managed to do in the southern state.
Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao is eyeing national politics and he wants to bring an alternative force at the center. For this, he is using all his efforts and gathering support from like-minded people and met a few leaders as well. KCR would have aggressively moved forward in this if Congress would have not won the Karnataka elections.
Now KCR used all the weapons in his armory. From attacking the Congress party for not developing the state in combined days and attacking it over the promise of scrapping the Dharani portal, he shot many arrows. He even drew a comparison between Telangana and other states.
The Chief Minister listed out the development the state saw in the last nine years like no power cuts and employment generation. He said that in the combined days, the Mahbubnagar district was not developed and it remained undeveloped. But things changed now and people from other states are coming here for employment.
Talking about the electricity supply, KCR said that earlier there were doubts about how the state would perform in the current supply. But we have smashed them and there is 24 hours supply in the state and we are also giving current for farmers.
Telangana is performing well in welfare that other states are showing interest in implementing the Telangana model. This is an example of how well we are doing. This is not possible without your(people's) support, he said.
KCR also used the opportunity to target the grand old Congress party and said that the party wants to close the Dharani portal and bring back the problems. I am urging people to defeat the Congress and toss the party into the Bay of Bengal for the betterment of the state.
The Chief Minister did not forget to use the Telangana sentiment and said that it was the people who supported him when he asked them if he should enter National politics or not and they blessed him.
