KCR's Why Not 112 On The Lines Of Jagan?

Update: 2023-04-28 10:59 GMT
Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao gave key directives. As the general elections are just a few months away, it has become interesting to hear such comments from him. A key meeting was held at the Telangana Bhavan on the occasion of the foundation day of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi.

At the event, CM KCR mentioned some key issues. Out of them all one aspect grabbed everyone's attention. It is said that KCR also gave a target on the number of seats the party should win in the next elections. Earlier Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy did the same.

It is known that the YSRCP has been sending a message on why the party cannot win all the 175 Assembly seats. Why not 175 is the slogan of the YSRCP.

But things are not the same in Telangana. BRS boss has a good friendship with AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi. Due to the friendship, the BRS has to leave the seven MLA seats where AIMIM will win.

CM KCR who strongly wants to win all the seats in Telangana will not want to win the seven seats that are strong zones of the AIMIM. Now he wants to win more seats than the party won in the previous elections.

If we look at what the Telangana Chief Minister said, it appears that the ruling party also wants to clean sweep the elections. However, the only difference in Telangana is that the party wants to leave the seats of the AIMIM.

Many say that the BRS party wants to go for Why not 112 on the lines of YSRCP's Why not 175. However, the ruling party is yet to announce the same slogan. Currently, the BRS has 103 MLAs which include the seats won in previous elections, MLAs who joined the party after elections from Congress, and two seats it lost in by-elections. Congress has five MLAs and the Bharatiya Janata Party has three MLAs in the Assembly.

One Assembly seat is vacant with the demise of Cantonment MLA Sayanna. If we leave the seven MLA seats of AIMIM, there are 112 seats in the state and the BRS wants to win them all. We have to wait and see what happens next.
