The party flopped badly and all those who contested, lost their deposits. Since then he went into hibernation, only to surface sometime ago. He joined the Congress and vowed to bring former Congressmen back into the party. Now, he is nowhere. No one is talking about him. Kiran Reddy, won in 1989, 1999, 2004 and 2009. Later, he became CM in the wake of the restive conditions post Rosaiahs's resignation. He was the CM from 2010 till March 2014.
Ahead of 2019 elections, there was a talk that he would be given MP ticket from Rajampet. But, even that did not happen. So, he is back into hybernation. His brother Nallari Kishore Kumar is now in the TDP.
