Low turnout for Pragathi Nivedhana Sabha which was planned with 25 lakh attendance embarrassed the TRS Leadership. Particularly, It was seen as a failure of Minister KTR as he was given the responsibility of making it a historic meeting. The attendance hasn't even exceeded 10 lakh despite spending anywhere close to Rs 300 crore.
On the other hand, Close to 1 lakh people attended the Husnabad Meeting of TRS on September 7th. None other than Irrigation Minister Harish Rao took care of the arrangements. With this meeting, Harish Rao proved how good he is at accomplishing any task given by KCR. He set targets for Local Leaders when it comes to mobilizing the crowds and achieved success.
Whereas, Over-confidence proved costly for KTR. Ahead of the Pragathi Nivedhana Sabha, The Minister told, 'TRS have 47 lakh members. Even if half of them arrive for the meeting, Our mission will be a grand success'. In reality, Not even 25 percent of the TRS Members reached Kongara Kalan on September 2nd.
Harish Rao was able to achieve the target even with limited resources. Whereas, KTR failed to meet the target despite abundant budget. In that way, Siddipet Hero holds an upper hand.
