The situation in Telangana state is starting to get normals as the positive cases are decreasing gradually. Minister of MA&UD, Industries, and IT&C Taraka Rama Rao(KTR) conform the same in an interview with a National Television.
KTR said that he is hoping that the novel coronavirus will not spread further in the state. KTR maintained that by the 8th of May, Telangana state will be Corona free and added that the safety measures taken by th state government made this happen.
The Minister said that only single-digit cases of COVID-19 were being reported and as of 29th of April 11 districts in the state have turned out as Corona-free districts.
Talking about the lockdown, the Minister said that the existing lockdown will be active in the state till the 7th of May and the containment, quarantine, and Red Zones were being maintained properly.
KTR went on to say that, measures were taken to see that the public will not face any problems and around seven thousand centers were set-up to purchase the grains form the farmers.
