KTR Wishes Priyanca Radhakrishnan For Being Appointed As Minister In New Zealand

Indian origin Priyanca Radhakrishnan, who has her roots in Paravur of Kochi has sworn in as the Minister of Community and Voluntary Sector in New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern's new cabinet.

The 41-year-old Priyanca Radhakrishnan has made history to serve as the first-ever Indian-origin minister of New Zealand.

After she has sworn in as Minister, TRS working president and Minister of MA&UD, Industries and IT&C Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao wished Priyanca Radhakrishnan for being appointed as Minister.

KTR took to the Microblogging site Twitter to wish Radhakrishanan on her new post. He shared a picture of him with Radhakrishnan in his tweet.

"Many congratulations to our friend @priyancanzlp on being appointed as Minister in the New Zealand Govt. Priyanca Radhakrishnan is the first Indian to be elevated to this position in NZ; My compliments to Prime Minister @jacindaardern on her fabulous leadership & poll victory," KTR's tweet read.

Priyanca Radhakrishnan, who has been active since 2004 was elected to the New Zealand parliament at the 2017 general election by the New Zealand Labour Party. She served two times as MP from Auckland.
