Political Parties kept complaining about the lakhs of bogus votes in Telangana. The worst fears of voters has now come true Today. Several cases related to bogus votes have been reported on the polling day of Assembly Polls.
As many as 74 bogus votes have been identified in Bharath Nagar, Kukatpally Constituency. All of these votes were registered on the names of one family in a house. Actually, Owners of the house vacated the house long ago and the structure isn't even in a good condition. Nobody knows if they had registered their votes somewhere else or not. Had if they registered somewhere else, Why didn't EC remove the old votes?
In another case, 68 bogus votes have been identified in the same area. None of them stay even in this house.
On the other hand, People who voted in 2014 Elections have been questioning why their votes have been removed from the voter list. Many of them complained they weren't given the right to exercise their vote even after applying again.
