Legendary Director Hopeful of TDP's Win in Next Polls!

It is no doubt that Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao is among the few legendary directors we had. He saw the evolution of the film industry. He started his career as an assistant director with black and white films and became a director with the critically acclaimed drama fantasy Jyothi.

Raghavendra Rao has good bonding with legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao who floated Telugu Desam Party. His affection towards NTR made Raghavendra Rao a strong supporter of TDP and he openly extends his support to the party.

Yet again, the director supported Telugu Desam Party and predicted that the party would come to power in the next elections by defeating the ruling YSRCP. He was in the Guntur district the other day for a meeting. The legendary director unveiled the statue of NTR in Nadigaddapalem village in the Guntur district. After doing the honors, he addressed the gathering and alleged that people are not happy with the ruling party and Telugu Desam Party will come to power for sure.

One wonders how Raghavendra Rao is confident about the Telugu Desam Party which is dealing with the biggest crisis since its inception. Forget about losing the polls cheaply in the 2019 general elections, Telugu Desam Party even lost the strong fortress Kuppam in the municipal polls.

Talking about the close ties between Telugu Desam Party and the legendary director, Raghavendra Rao gave his best whenever the party needed it. From designing the campaigning activities and even directed a few ads for the campaign.

Besides Raghavendra Rao, other filmmakers also have close ties with the Telugu Party but his stint with the party continued even after the elections. As a bid to honor the legendary director for his services to the party, the Telugu Desam Party made him the director of  Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams's devotional channel Sri Venkateswara Bhakthi Channel(SVBC).

Raghavendra Rao who is a strong supporter of the Telugu Desam Party also has an anti-YSRCP ideology as he criticized the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government over the much-talked-about online movie ticket sales row. Looks like, Raghavendra Rao is hopeful and wants to see Telugu Desam Party back in power.
