YS Vivekananda Reddyâs daughter Sunitha continues to be the throne in the flesh to the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy government. Saying that she has no trust in the government, she demanded the CBI probe and the central agency has been probing the matter. Her sensational petition took the case to the Supreme Court yet again.
Seeking the transfer of the case, Sunitha moved the court. The top court heard the petition and the hearing lasted for over one hour. The Supreme Court gave its nod for the transfer of the case from Andhra Pradesh. The lawyers representing the accused told the court that the decision to transfer the case should be thought again.
Sunitha's lawyer told the court that local MP Avinash is creating issues with the probe and impacting the case investigation. The lawyer also sought directives to appoint a body led by a retired judge with a time frame for the probe.
The lawyers went on to say that two accused had died under suspicious circumstances and people who came out of the jail on bail are influencing the witnesses and even threatening the investigating officers. The lawyers mentioned the cases filed against the CBI officers to back their claims.
The court also posed a few questions to the government's counsel and asked where are the details about the security. Expressing dissatisfaction, the bench said they should come to the hearing with all the required details.
