Luxury Car Manufacturer Rolls Out First EV!

Gone are the days when vehicle manufacturing companies used to make just petrol and diesel variants of vehicles. Electric Vehicles are seeing big growth in users. Not just Two-wheelers, companies are also manufacturing four-wheelers, and people are also shifting to EVs slowly.

The EV trend has caught the automobile industry and even Rolls-Royce which manufactures the costly vehicles also joined the row. The luxury car manufacturer launched Spectre, which is the first all-electric model of the company. The vehicle was unveiled in South Korea's Seoul as a pilot project.

Rolls-Royce's electric vehicle costs around $486K.However, the price is not fixed and it changes based on the specializations the model will have. Rolls-Royce is known for its luxury experience and specifications. Ordinary people cannot buy the model and vehicles are manufactured only on pre-orders with the specifications the customers want.

Talking about Spectre, it has the Rolls-Royce flagship interiors like the widest grille and split headlights ever. The EV also comes with a non-spoke instrument cluster and Rolls-Royce vehicle was given such an accessory for the first time. The vehicle is an amalgamation of propulsion, power, and torque and the vehicle reaches 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.

There is a reason behind Rolls-Royce picking South Korea to launch the EV vehicle. The nation is among the biggest markets the company has and since the 2000s, the number of vehicles the company sells kept on increasing. It is also said that Rolls-Royce received most bookings from South Korea. However, the company did not reveal the number of bookings it received.

The Company's Regional Head of Asia Pacific said that they are very delighted to unveil the EV vehicle in South Korea. Saying that the EV offers an effortless super-luxury experience, she said that South Korea is the largest market of the company and Spectre received a good number of pre-orders.
